The Seymour-Tisdell-Straubs

Our family is composed of Trish and Jon, 11-year old Sydney, Twin two year olds and our black lab, Sully. Mike (Syd's dad) is around quite a bit too. We'd started this blog as a way of keeping up with our family and friends, please feel free to share the URL.

Bounce-aholic

The North Pole

We took a trip to Shara's House during our vacation week to visit with Brian, Shara and the Baby (we figured it was more rare than a total eclipse of the sun for Shara, Brian, Erin and I to allhave work off on a weekday - so we'd better take advantage of it.) Besides, I had only seen baby Maddy one other time and needed more bonding. It was extremely cold at this lattitude. At one point the road was impassible but we harnessed some sled dogs and made our way to Shara's winterly dwelling.
Ciara was quite happy to take over this jumper toy for which Maddy is not quite big enough yet!

Like every young baby, Madeleine had episodes of crying which really upset her father. While they were bother crying the resemblance was striking.

All smiles.

Maddy and her Mummy

Shara and Brian celebrated Sydney's b-day early since we were all together. The cake was delicious despite being in three pieces (see picture, above). For a full sequence of events see Brian's new sitcom pilot episode of "That's my wife!"
Sydney with her "baby" - a boxing nun.

In Maine we met the Meanest Baby slinger this side of the Mississippi. Brian was quick on the draw and carried two of the finest "pieces" in his holster!
